Compassionate Action also needs help with feeding (once a week) our adoptable cats on display at PETCO in Selden and Lake Grove.
You can volunteer to feed local outdoor colonies or foster our rescued cats in your home
We need help with fundraising, public relations, special events, etc.
Adoption
Sanctuary
Compassionate Action is also looking for land and/or buildings on Long Island that can be used as a sanctuary for our feral cat colonies. Even a large barn would be useful for this type of sanctuary.
Volunteers have the opportunity to help with holding adoption events inside the PETCO store in Selden and Lake Grove. This helps to build the Compassionate Action name, but more importantly, gives our kitties the much-needed exposure that might connect them to their perfect forever home!
